Every year, nearly 16,000 children in the United States alone are diagnosed with cancer. While the overall survival rate has improved over the past few decades, cancer remains the second leading cause of death in children behind only accidents. And for those who survive, life is often complicated and compromised by life-long, chronic health challenges including heart disease, stunted growth, infertility, secondary cancers, and premature death.
We the CLGCFATL,Inc. have tasked ourselves with helping to finance the care, and provide resources for children in Barbados who might not have access to proper treatments and cures. Our goal is to partner with other entities where possible to save lives and to provide a hope for children afflicted with childhood cancers. To this end, we focus our funding on offering financial assistance to families, and providing resources to facilities who are dedicated to assisting children in their care.
